Great product for price. You must make sure the bowl is completely frozen before use and be careful not to make to much ice cream as it will overflow during freezing process.

It only makes REALLY soft ice cream, then the base is too warm. So you need to chill the ingredients until they are really cold, then use the machine for 20 minutes, THEN put it in the freezer for a few hours to get ice cream that isn’t soupy. I bought this because I thought it was going to take care of things for me more than a manual one with real ice but those actually make the ice cream faster!

Our family are big homemade ice cream fans. However, it’s a lot of work to make a batch of homemade ice cream, especially for a one time dessert. This little freezer has given us homemade ice cream with no mess, very little work, and just the amount we need. You do need to make sure that you keep the bowl for the ice cream in the freezer all the time. Having it ready to go certainly speeds up the process when you are ready for ice cream. The recipes are simple, easy to follow and adapt and we love it!!! It may seem like it’s a bit pricey for an ice cream maker but it will pay for itself very quickly!

Cool machine, easy to use. You can get it to the consistency of soft serve or firmer if you get everything super cold or put in the freezer when it done (I like to put it in containers and eat for snacks over time).
