We bought our machine about a month ago. I was very excited and hesitant at the same time due to different folks’ reviews. It’s is a very basic machine and easy to use. The noise level is just about what I would expect from a.kitchen appliance in use. Right outta the gate I blew it!! I forgot to turn the machine before pouring the ingredients in..... HA! My husband tried to save the day, but the ingredients had started to set right away. I just had to quickly rinse the bowl and start over. Fortunately, the bowl had frozen hard enough and we worked fast!!
The ice cream was creamy and very tasty!! The grandkids just love the taste and think Grampa and gramma are so AWESOME.....Gotta love it!

Easy & awesome small batch ice-cream maker!

We have been making ice cream almost every week since I got this for my husband in July. Strawberry, blueberry-basil, and peach have been wonderful. This unit is small but great for 2-4 people. We make only 1-1.5 quarts at a time and don't run it too long - the ice cream is soft when we eat it & we freeze the remainder in Tupperware containers in the freezer. If you put in to much it overflows the rim of the freezing container as it churns & incorporates air. This unit works great but I'd recommend not over-filling it or running it too long. It is not a powerful motor so we don't want to burn it out. It freezes most of our batches soft-serve batches in 12-18 minutes depending on volume & cream content. We love it.

Followed the instructions exactly using a purchased ice cream mix. After over 1 hour of mixing, never changed viscosity (stayed liquid). Purchased the higher value model with compressor using the same brand of ice cream mix and it worked perfectly. Not a good choice if you need longer to mix and have no way to keep the maker cold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is so easy to use! The ice cream comes out perfect every time! The recipe booklet is so easy and delicious! My family is so thrilled with this product we make ice cream at least three times a week! Every flavor has been outstanding!

Easy to use but takes a while to freeze the bucket all the way. Once it is frozen it works great. I would recommend getting a second bucket although it is almost the same price as a second machine sadly.

Well, I am an ice cream fanatic and like healthy frozen yogurt too, so I bought this ice cream maker. I love it!! Easy to use, makes enough for a family serving and the recipes are fantastic. Only had it about a month so cannot attest for longevity, but I love the easiness, timeliness , and yummiest of this product!!
