This ice cream maker is a gem! It seems well made and is easy to use. I wasn't sure about the plastic blades, but after the first batch was convinced. In the first couple weeks we've made 6 different flavors of ice cream and sorbets and they have all been wonderful. It makes eating homemade ice cream every night dangerously easy.

I was skeptical of an ice cream maker that "passively" chilled the ingredients, thinking it would not sufficiently cool. This was an unfounded concern. This ice cream maker works extremely well. We've made several recipes that are to die for. A bonus is that it's super easy to clean.

This little machine does NOT make that much noise, and produces quite delicious results! I found using fresh fruit works better than frozen due to less water (the more water, the more ice crystals, the less creamy). Love how easy it is to use! (I always cooled my mixture overnight). My machine thickened my batch of frozen yogurt in way less that 20 minutes. We enjoyed the thickened 'soft serve' texture so ate the dessert right out of the machine. Did not need to freeze more. So many more flavors to try. I bought it to have more control over what I am eating!!
