My first try didn’t go so well. I'm lucky I didn’t bust the machine: I put the dasher in upside down and kept wondering why the bell shaped cover wouldn’t lock into the base. I peered again at the teeny instruction page to see how I was going wrong. Aha! I started over, with all 4 parts now fit in properly, and I made THE most delicious peppermint ice cream!!

We REALLY love this ice cream maker. We have used it twice, making a delicious vanilla ice cream. Looking forward to experimenting with flavors and additions. We keep the canister in the freezer always, also I prefer to make the ice cream mix the night before. I’ll use the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker in the am for a more firm texture, it make's the best tasting ice cream for that evening and the next day too. Two servings for two people for two nights🤗

Replaced my original Cuisinart ice cream maker, which my family enjoyed for years. My kids grew up on the simple vanilla ice cream recipe, with fresh strawberries. I made chocolate expresso ice cream with my new model and OMG it was the bomb, so happy!! Yum!

Easy to use and excellent results. The instructions are clear and cuisinart provides guidelines and recipes that are easy to follow. High quality ice cream dessert and you can even make them dairy free. Almost any flavor is now an option. I made dairy free chocolate ice cream and dairy free mango sorbet using pineapple chunks and sweet mango juice. Both came out amazing.

Have had the appliance for about 2 weeks and so far have made vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream , all with good results. From my experience , as well as reports form Youtube and online reviews, the critical factor seems to be the temperature of the chiller bowl as well as the mixture itself. Make sure to chill the bowl in the cold part of the freezer for 24 hours and chill the ice cream mixture in the fridge for 1.5 or more hours. So far, the ice cream as been ready in about 15-20 minutes and then I transfer it to a freezer safe container to get firmer. I look forward to trying other recipes such as the coconut and raspberry sorbets.

This is my 1st ice cream maker. I could scream! The product is easy to assemble, easy to clean and easy to use. Might have to buy a separate freezer to store all the flavors I’m eager to try.
