Easy to use and excellent results. The instructions are clear and cuisinart provides guidelines and recipes that are easy to follow. High quality ice cream dessert and you can even make them dairy free. Almost any flavor is now an option. I made dairy free chocolate ice cream and dairy free mango sorbet using pineapple chunks and sweet mango juice. Both came out amazing.

Have had the appliance for about 2 weeks and so far have made vanilla, chocolate and strawberry ice cream , all with good results.
From my experience , as well as reports form Youtube and online reviews, the critical factor seems to be the temperature of the chiller bowl as well as the mixture itself. Make sure to chill the bowl in the cold part of the freezer for 24 hours and chill the ice cream mixture in the fridge for 1.5 or more hours.
So far, the ice cream as been ready in about 15-20 minutes and then I transfer it to a freezer safe container to get firmer.
I look forward to trying other recipes such as the coconut and raspberry sorbets.

I recently bought the automatic ice cream maker as a replacement or the exact same machine. I had that one for a number of years until I started hearing a knocking sound when I was churning ice cream in it. With the new one, I realized that I had been using the old one incorrectly. I put the cream mixture in before I turned on the machine. My bad. That may be why it started malfunctioning. Anyway, I love using this and I keep the bowl in the freezer at all times so I can make ice cream any time I want to.
