Good ice cream maker you just have to freeze the container for at least 12 hours before use. This makes great ice cream but clean up can be a bit messy. Also wish it was just a bit bigger.

This is a good ice cream maker. It is rather confusing how the plastic top is supposed to lock in place after placing the paddle in the frozen bowl. The top doesn't really 'lock'. There are some notches on the foundation the plastic top just rests against. The paddle appears to be rotating along with the bowl, then it stops. The bowl continues to turn, churning the mixture, but it tends to collect on one side of the paddle. I have to stop the machine periodically to balance the mixture.

I have been utilizing the recipes that come with it and made chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and butter pecan ice cream so far. It is so easy to make ice cream that I no longer buy ice cream. The key to any kitchen device is to keep it handy so that you will actually use it. It takes me only 25 to 30 minutes to make ice cream and that includes the 15 to 20 minutes of auto-churning. So easy!

Very easy to use and it comes with a recipe book packed full of recipes from simple with on-hand ingredients to a little more complex, like custards and ice cream cakes. I highly recommend this product! I purchased this for my 12-year-old for Christmas and he and I now love making ice cream together.

I love this appliance. Now I know what I am putting into my ice cream. It is fun to use too. I ordered one for my second home also and am patiently waiting for it. I want to try it using coconut milk. It is not loud. I read reviews saying how loud it is - NOT! Mine freezes really fast. Grand daughter loves watching it and scraping bowl! I know of at least three more people now that want one. Sooo good.
