My first batch of ice cream was a disaster, but that was because I did not use a recipe. It turns out if you use one of the recipes that come with the ice cream maker that it is excellent soft serve ice cream!! Ha! Who would have thought?😂😂😂

I’ve never owned a kitchen appliance that had only an On/Off button — no bells and whistles whatsoever. The Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker is not only elegantly simple to use, the results are fantastic!
So far I’ve made Alton Brown’s Serious Vanilla Ice Cream, and the Butter Pecan and Strawberry ice cream recipes from the Cuisinart manual that comes with the machine.
If you are on the fence, go for it. (It is particularly appealing in the ice cream pink color.)

We had seen the reviews and are appreciative of all the reviews that led to our decision to make the purchase. We have tried making ice cream with different machines over the years and this is by far the best and in a class of its own! So easy to make and so, using the recipes, delicious! I have to say I will never buy ice cream again. I have made the vanilla, chocolate & strawberry ice creams with the recipes that came with the machine. I substituted extra creamy oat milk for whole milk & plant based cream for heavy cream. They tasted fabulous. My 3 kids agree. I’m excited to try mint next.
