This is my first-ever ice cream maker, so I may just have a bit more of a learning curve to overcome ... but my experience so far is mixed. Sorbet has given me the best results (though much of the work then was in pureeing the frozen fruit first in a blender). Adding some booze toward the end helped to keep it softer after freezing the extra for later. When I made oat-milk ice cream, so much froze to the sides (which has happened to significant extent each time, though not enough to stop the machine, just to cause a fair bit of wastage), that the bowl couldn't turn. I had to scoop everything out, gently scrape down the sides of the bowl, then restart ... which made a mess, and the bowl wasn't then really frozen enough. And at best, it doesn't really mix all that well, if you're adding in an ingredient per the instructions. So I'll keep experimenting, but won't get my hopes up too high.

I love ice cream but not all the other stuff that goes into commercial ice creams. This is easy to use and produces a quality product. Simple and inexpensive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this easy to use ice cream freezer. Need to plan ahead to put the container in your freezer for a day. 30 minutes of chilling gives you great soft serve; finish it in the freezer. A bit noisy so you need to stash it away while it spins. I got mine on sale and so worth it!
