The machine works great. We've been focused on peppermint ice cream, which isn't available locally. It's hypnotic to watch, even if it's hard to wait 20 minutes. I'm not sure how to clean it afterwards. If you wash it while it's still cold, hard to dry it out. If you wait for it to thaw, it takes longer to refreeze. It is awesome as a way to customize your ingredients. For example, my celiac son can use gluten-free Oreos to make gluten-free "cookies and cream" ice cream. It was delicious. Thanks for good recipe book.
