I bought this machine about a month ago and after freezing the core for approximately 48 hrs, I dove right in with my first batch of homemade ice cream. It took about 25 minute form me to produce a soft serve ice cream that was fantastic. Make sure you turn the machine on before filling it up. If you don’t the ice cream base will freeze to the inside of the core and seize the mixing paddle. This machine is a bit loud, but not much more so than a dishwasher.

I bought this ice cream maker for 2 reasons. One, ice cream is so expensive and two, I started a keto diet and wanted to make my own by using a sugar substitute. It worked out perfect! I have been using it now for a couple of months and have made several batches of ice cream because it goes so fast. I really enjoy how fast it takes to make ice cream as long as the bowl has been in the freezer for 24 hours prior. I highly recommend this product!

This is so much easier and faster than the old fashioned hand crank makers. The speed, ease and quality of the machine probably deserve five stars. The only minor problem I've had with it is that even when following the recipes exactly, it will tend to overflow a little at the end. It's not a big deal, but put it where a little bit of a mess won't hurt. You can certainly eat the ice cream as soon as it's done but for my taste, it's better after a few hours in the freezer.

I have had this for about a month and just love it. I bought two of the bowls and am glad I did. It made the ice cream in 15 minutes and was very solid set. While it makes noise it was not any noisier than a regular ice cream freezer. I am so glad I bought this. We love homemade ice cream but since our family has grown up we don't need to make a full range 5 quarts. This one is a perfect size.

I purchased the double bowl Cuisinart ice cream maker with some trepidation and doubt. I couldn’t have been more wrong! Following the directions and freezing the bowls overnight, and chilling the ice cream mix for two hours from room temp, the ice cream maker makes creamy soft ice cream in 15-20 minutes reliably. The ice cr an fiend up nicely in the freezer in a tovolo ice cream tub. And i can make a second flavor right away with the second bowl. Very convenient but tvbad forvthe sweet tooth diet!

This machine works. However, the scraper paddle is not strong enough, so you’ll end up taking a spatula and helping the scraping work. Also, there’s a such thing as too cold. Let the bowl sit for a few minutes before adding your mixture or it will freeze too quickly and the machine will lock up on the base

I decided on this model based on America's Test Kitchen recommendation as their best pick for a few years in a row. They were right! This machine is awesome. It takes up very little counter space and makes wonderfully creamy ice cream in less than 20 minutes. I've made full cream ice cream as well as frozen yogurts, and even made beautiful ice cream using lwer fat milks and artificial sweeteners. All were heavenly. Thank you Cuisinart!
