I am very pleased with the ice cream maker. As said, the ice cream comes out soft and creamy. Since I have a large family, my goal is to make various flavors of ice cream and put them in containers in the freezer, so I have a good supply always. When frozen, the consistency is firm and very nice. We live in the country, far away from grocery stores that sell high quality ice cream, so transporting ice cream without having it melt was not possible. I wanted to make my own ice cream with the best of ingredients, and now I am able to do so.

Super easy to use, one button. Great recipes in the book. Tons of recipes on Pinterest If you’re looking for other recipes. I got it mostly for my grandchildren when they visit I love having ice cream and knowing what’s in it. I love being able to decide what I want to put in the ice cream and being able to make it as healthy as possible and still satisfying. There is some prep work, so you do need to plan and get things set up to make the ice cream. But I love it. Can’t wait for my grandkids to come in so they can try it. I am sure they will come up with some strange concoctions that we will put together.

Don't hesitate to buy this! I was not sold on getting an ice cream maker - it seemed frivolous & would probably end up stuffed in the back of a cupboard. The first batch of vanilla with mini-chips was so easy. i figured it couldn't be good - wrong. It was great! My 2nd batch of chocolate was even better, leaving me to dream about future flavors and customizing fat levels with various milk choices. Store your ice cream in the base & also when done so its ready for the next batch. Enjoy!
