Once you have your ingredients chilled, and have the maker frozen for 18 hours or so, it makes your own concoctions of ice cream, sorbet, or slushy!

I cannot rave enough about the Cuisinart Ice Cream and Sorbet Maker! As a lover of all things ice cream and sorbet, I was skeptical that homemade could truly be better than store-bought. Was I wrong!
Firstly, the ease of use is incredible. Simply assemble the machine according to the user manual instructions (which are very straightforward), mix up your desired ingredients for your flavor profile of choice, and voila! A perfectly creamy batch of ice cream or sorbet in under an hour (after the custard cools, that is). It couldn't be simpler.
But what really sets this appliance apart is how marvelously delicious it makes everything taste. Seriously - every batch has turned out better than any brand-name option I've tried before. And with so many options for customization (like adding in mix-ins towards the end), you can make each creation completely unique.
And this thing work fast! In just 25-30 minutes tops, my batch always comes out with smooth consistency and perfect texture!
