I have always trusted Cuisinart appliances. I am a 79 year old Grandmother(32) and Great Grandmother (9) I purchased this ice cream maker and liked it so much I am sending one to each of my seven children for their birthdays. Makes just the right amount for me and it's so fun coming up with all of my own recipes using Cuisinart's basic vanilla and chocolate recipes in the included booklet as my base recipe. The machine is easy to use and clean. Only takes 25 minutes to make 1 1/2 quarts of ice cream. Only problem is that I've been making ice cream everyday and my clothes are shrinking.Yes, I would recommend this ice cream maker.

This is a great machine, I make Keto Ice cream with none of the "unknown" additives and at a much, much lower cost than store bought Keto choices. The freezer bowl lives in my freezer so I can pull it out and make a batch anytime with in 20 minutes. Very pleased with this purchase.

The ice cream maker works really well, as long as you follow the directions. We have made both vanilla and chocolate ice cream and they were both delicious. It’s a fairly easy process, but you do need to chill the mixture for a couple of hours, before you put it into the machine. Also the bowl, which is part of the machine, needs to be frozen solid before you can make the ice cream. A little tip when serving the ice cream is to chill the serving dishes first, so the ice cream doesn’t melt in them right away. Follow the instructions and allow the ice cream mix that you made to run in the machine for the entire twenty minutes. You will get a much firmer product that you will be happier with. It’s a great device that I received as a gift and I really couldn’t be happier with it.

Once you have your ingredients chilled, and have the maker frozen for 18 hours or so, it makes your own concoctions of ice cream, sorbet, or slushy!
