Super fast at chilling to soft serve in 20 min or less. Perfect capacity too. The bowl stays quite chilled even after being thoroughly washed in hot soapy water so it refreezes quickly. Easy to clean too.

Took the advice of the NY Times Wirecutter and purchased the Cuisinart Ice Cream Freezer. This works so much better than my old Donvier freezer. It takes a little planning ahead. In about 20 minutes or so to reach soft serve consistency, and then transfer to an airtight container for a couple of hours, and you have a delicious ice cream.

Works well but it is a bit of a pain to have to refrigerate the unit for 24 hours between each batch when they are such small batches. Also, it is a bit misleading that it says it makes ice cream in 20 minutes because it tells you to chill the ingredients for two hours plus to freeze the unit for 24 hours. The unit is also huge and takes up a lot of space in the freezer.
Homemade cookies and cream is far superior to store bough!

I like this machine. The only problem is, I make a small batch and it freezes up the sides and the bottom. There’s a layer of ice cream that I have to wait for the canister to thaw before I can get to it because it’s so hard.

We love this ice cream maker! The design is so clever, and it couldn't be easier to use. So far we've made chocolate, raspberry, and lemon basil sorbets- so easy to make and delicious! Way better than store-bought. Clean up is a snap, too.
