The bowl takes a full day to freeze, so you need to plan ahead. Also it costs more to make yourself than buy in a grocery store. Even so I love making my own, and it is especially great for people that are watching their sugar or can’t do dairy.

I really like this ice cream maker. It’s easy to use-no ice or salt and makes great ice cream and frozen yogurt. The freezing bowl can be kept in the freezer so it’s ready whenever you are. We have made ice cream 2-3 times a week since we got it.
