Such an improvement from my really old ice cream maker! I love how easy it is to use and you no longer need to add rock salt. Works great and will continue to use for both ice cream and sorbet.

I love this little ice cream maker…. It’s fast, 20 - 30 minutes and I have ice cream! I use my own fresh ingredients, avoiding artificial coloring and preservatives…. There’s no mess, no need for ice and salt…. I own several Cuisinart items and have always been impressed by the quality.

Bought this to replace similar non-electric ice cream maker that we had used for many years. We were pleased that the Cuisinart made excellent ice cream in a reasonable amount of time, and especially that it was quieter than we expected. The only downside we've discovered is that the central piece (the "dasher"), which remains stationary while the tub rotates around it, has complicated ridges and shapes that make it a bit challenging to get all the ice cream off. Also seems a little flimsy, but it worked fine.
