Works as described and I have enjoyed the ice cream it makes. Like the fact that I don't have to use rock salt and other messy methods. The paddle is a bit difficult to get the ice cream off. That's the only operation that is hard. Would like it if the parts beyond the motor and tub were dishwasher safe.
