I love using this ice cream maker, so simple and quick. No need for rock salt which saves on expense and mess. The recipes are easy and delicious. I own several Cuisinart appliances and love them all, but this is my current favorite.

I had an old model, and after years of non-use, for some reason the cover wouldn't fit and lock properly. Since it was an easy machine to use and clean, I bought the upgrade of the same. I am very pleased with this new purchase. My first creation was a variation on the basic vanilla ice cream recipe - my version of bananas foster. I made a caramel/pecan crumble, mashed a banana with some rum and added these once the ice cream started to firm up. The ice cream maker worked perfectly and my delicious dessert was ready in less than half an hour. It's quite quiet during operation. I'm planning to make mango ice cream next month.
