This is great hard ice cream, so you don't need to dish as much as the whipped stuff that is more air than cream. Let equal amounts of both melt to prove it. I had left-over store bought and experimented to prove what I always told my wife. I even use Splenda instead of Sugar to make it fit my diabetic diet and have used sugar free hard candy and flavorings to make what I can't buy. It's fun for kids too.

Its excellent. No secrets or quirks. Its easy and ice cream recipes are very good. I would definitely recommend this machine. Hardly any clean up at all if careful. Its so fast. 15 to 20 minutes to churn and its done. We always put ice cream in freezer overnight.

If you like to be creative in the kitchen, buy this. It does take some prep time to freeze the bowl which is a little annoying, however, it’s worth it in the long run, the texture of the ice cream comes out perfect every time. I love this ice cream maker.

This is a great machine, works like all the other of the same type: you keep the cylinder in the freezer, then pour the cold ice cream mix into the cylinder while it its turning. I have had this machine only a short period, but it has worked effortlessly and made a fantastic butter pecan ice cream. Much better than what you can buy. Machine is very easy to clean. Two previous machines stopped working after some 15 years. I expect this one to have a similar life span.
