Still experimenting...maybe it's my freezer setting is too cold, but I lose almost a cup of ice cream to mixture REALLY hard frozen to the wall of the churn. I am going to try leaving the churn in the freezer for only 8 hours vs the recommended 24 hours.

Love the ease of the machine, but really wish the finished ice cream was harder as it's closer to being soft serve! When I make it, I want to eat it, not stick it in the freezer for another 2 hours for it to harden more. Need to offer tips on how to keep leftovers from getting hard as a rock that you can't even scoop it unless you defrost it a bit.

Does what it says although I first thought you just toss in the ingredients and wait. Some premixing and chilling of ingredients. Now I know why there are so many used ones for sale. Might be more trouble that it's worth, and more expensive to make than buy.

This ice cream maker is so wonderful. I can control the flavor and the amount of sugar. 5 star every time. I only wish the extra bowl was so expensive.
