I received the ice cream maker as a gift. I have used it twice so far making some of the ice cream recipes in the accompanying booklet. Pros: Easy to use, no rock salt needed, easy and quick Cons: The freezing tub is not large enough to handle the ingredients of the recipes. Ice cream always spills out of the top and down the sides of the machine making a mess. The ice cream isn't as firm as I would like.

Bought the ice cream maker, and with first use, the machine labors too much as the mixing continues. Additionally, the plastic paddle is thin and wimpy....catches and causes itarld to jump out of the locking grooves. Have used it 4 times now with the same issues....you have to babysit it as the mixture thickens

I purchased a cheaper ice cream maker and wasn't satisfied with the results. This ice cream maker is the boom. I love it. Ice cream in 15 minutes, WOW. Well, that is soft serve but 1-2 hours in the freezer and then you have what you have been waiting for. I have recommend it to family member, by showing them my videos of the favors of ice cream that I have made and they will be making their purchases soon.

I've used the machine three times now and would give it 4 3/4 stars. The first time was messy and the ice cream was very soft. That's because it was very humid, and high 90's outside; and even with the central air, my kitchen was too warm. Also, I removed the bowl too soon from the freezer. Second time I used a custard base recipe and it didn't freeze well.I'm not sure why. Third time was perfect! Within 25 minutes I had perfect hard strawberry ice cream. This machine is perfect for 1-2 people. Your bowl should stay in a deep freezer at all times and you will have perfect ice cream.

Has a plastic internal piece instead of metal which would be colder than the plastic. This used to be metal in an earlier model. I froze the inside for 3 days sand it hardly made ice cream

I bought to make sorbet and it is pretty good but it gets stuck in a clump toward the top, requiring me to move the concoction with a rubber spatula. The paddle concept is good and probably works well with thicker mediums like cream for ice cream but it leaves some liquid at the bottom. It does make the sorbet though, so I only docked it one star for the inconsistent scraping/pooling at the bottom. The bowl is very cold, and seems to warm up quickly. Don’t try to dry it after washing it if it is still frozen/cold. The towel will stick to it!

The product was easy to use and clean up afterwards . The ice cream is not ready to eat immediately after making. It is too runny and has to sit in the freezer for a couple of hour in order to firm up. I am a little disappointed in that aspect of it.
