Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some times you just need a push mower. Drainage ditches and around tree stumps have long been the bain of mowing my yard this simple push mower made it so much easier than trying to balance the rider in ditches

Light weight and powerful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nobody really likes to use a push mower, right? Well, I’m no different, but this one is very light weight, and has tons of power! The Briggs & Stratton engine puts out a lot of power, and torque! I can cut down golden rod with it even! I don’t recommend using a push mower for that, but to give an idea of how powerful it is, it will do it, relatively easily!

It's light weight easy to push it also east to Adjust the cutting level on the mower. It cute great good power the cutting blades are really good. My girlfriend also used it she likes it too

The mower is easy to transport to use at my rental properties as I can fold down the handles and it does not take much room. Very easy to start.

Easy Set Up, Cuts Well, Needs aCouple Improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lawnmower definitely has some pros and cons if you are looking at this one to see if it’s a good fit for you. To start with, set up is quick and easy. It is pretty much assembled out of the box and the only thing you have to do is extend the handle and add the oil and gas. I when starting the mower after pushing the primer three times it started up on the second pull. After stopping it and starting again, it started on the first pull. I really like how easily it started each time. Adjusting the wheel height was easy and definitely needed for my lawn. The mower itself pushed easily, and while this lawnmower isn’t self-propelled, it is light enough that it moves easily when pushing or turning corners. I seemed to be able to mow quite a while before having to add gas to it, which is nice. I like that the oil cap comes off simply by inserting in a flat head or Phillips head screwdriver into the cap but you will definitely need a funnel to get the oil in to the mower.. The air filter cover snaps on and off easily for cleaning or changing out. I like that the gas cap has a tab on it to keep it attached to the motor, but I feel that the opening to the tank could be a little larger for easier fueling. The overall process of mowing with this machine was easy and almost effortless. The motor only cut out where I expected it to, in heavy grasses, or if the ground sloped hard and it couldn’t discharge properly. I like that the mower uses a Briggs and Stratton engine. The two big issues I have with the lawnmower is the side discharge cover and the rear trailing shield. The only option for the side discharge cover is to be open. It would be nice if there was an additional flap to make the mower into a recycling mower or to at least keep the discharge from shooting out of the side. This feature would make it helpful when mowing near structures. The rear trailing shield is lightweight plastic and basically useless. While I understand the mower is made to be pushed forward and not necessarily backwards, I think we’ve all found ourselves, pulling a mower backwards on occasion. The shield easily went up under the mower and I basically shredded it on the first use. A better quality material or better set up so it doesn’t go under the mower so easily would be helpful. if you’re looking for a basic mower that starts easily, cuts well, is easy to use, and has a good engine then this may be a good option with the understanding that the rear trailing shield and side discharge could use some improvement in design.
