A great pencil, to hard to find!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought many Prismacolor products throughout the years, not limited to, the kneaded erasers, pencil sharpener, 72 pack soft core pencils, and the col-erase pencils. I remember hearing about the pencils through youtube, although I always wondered what red and blue sketching pencils those popular artists used. When I found them a the Philly Blick I was so excited to try them! I love them for sketching. They don’t work with the soft core pencils but that’s not a problem because they are so good on their own! The color is consistent and vibrant and the pencil is pretty easy to sharpen though they do break often which can be consistent with prismacolor brand products. The only issue is they are to hard to find. I’ve found them at only two art stores and they always have very little stock. They should get a spot in Michaels where I always have people asking for them and where I have looked and not found them myself. Overall a great product which I would recommend to any artist who wants to add a touch of color to their sketches. But I would love to see them in more store in the future!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blue Col-Erase is fabulous for drawing your initial outline in your sketchbook. You can go right over it when drawing further or simply erase it. I can relax knowing I am not committed to the lines I sketch, and can sketch faster when out in the field.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these pencils for many years. I draw with them then use my Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils to color the drawing. I use the Col-Erase pencils because they blend in perfectly with the other pencils and the drawing lines don't show in the finished painting.
