Portable projector

While casting to tvs is nothing new, being able to do this wirelessly is. That's why this Belkin HDMI unlocks so much potential. It's supposed to work from tvs, tablets, and cellphones, which at its best operational peak would be absolutely portable for presentations, allowing yourself to be able to use monitors anywhere and everywhere to cast your logo on screens, and so many other useful possibilities. While there were some great experiences that I had with getting to easily cast to my tv at home. I did have issues at the beginning of using this HDMI CONNECTAIR onto my cellphone. It would not cast any movement I made on my cellphone nor the full imagery on my cellphone to my tv. This was pretty devastating because this is my main mode of communication needed for casting so this slows me down quite a bit as I'm still working to troubleshoot with no sign of resolution in sight. I'm not sure if it's just an error I'm experiencing or if I'll find that this is more widespread with cell devices but it greatly hampers the work I was planning to do so it takes me back to having to be wired in in order to be able to see my screen bigger or to just use the link to display features which can be finicky. This is why I removed a star. Lastly, I do want to share how this technology is ergonomically helpful. Being that it is on a larger screen like a tv, it has the potential to keep us sitting in more of a 90 degree angle vs looking downward so much. This is also better for our vision as well so that we aren't looking at the smaller screens as much. It does take some getting used to focusing our attention upwards and breaking the habit of hunching over, but that is fixable in time. Overall, this is a great technology to have around the house or the office or in your purse or workbag. You can turn screens into your own "projector " on a whim as long as it has an HDMI and USB input on it.

It Works - Plug & Play !!!

Works as advertised, with my desktop Mac and iPhone and iPad. Only negative is at over 60 feet distance the TX had to be (line of sight) or intermittently it kept loosing the picture and sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use with iPhone and iPad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This adapter worked flawlessly for my iPhone and iPad. It was as simple as plugging the receiver into the television and plugging the transmitter into the USB-C port on my device. Unfortunately, I was not able to get it to work with my MacBook.
