[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, pretty unimpressed. Not very useful for much larger than 2-3" limbs. I have the 24V 12 inch chainsaw too, which has much more power, so I don't really understand why this is so lacking.

Hello Neb R. Thanks for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear the 24V 8" Pole Saw did not have the power you were expecting. It is designed mainly for lighter trimming jobs usually up to about 3" limbs so we can see why it might feel limited compared to your 24V 12" chainsaw. \n\nThe higher the voltage of a product, the more power you will get and the heavier the job you can tackle. With higher voltage comes a higher price point, but depending on your workload, it may be necessary. Using the right tool not only makes the job easier but also safer. We have a variety of options for a range of household lawn care needs and hope this information is helpful. If you would like more details on which units may be best suited for your needs, please contact us through Live Chat on our site or by phone at 1-888-909-6757. We are here to help!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My third tool from Green works are they are all excellent. I now have the 8’ 24V Pole saw and Shop Vac plus the 40 V Snow thrower and they are work perfectly with a lot of piswer and long battery life. I would recommend any of the tool Great tools great value!.
I bought this about 3 years ago and have used it probably 6 times, never super heavy use as I only have 1 battery anyways. After sitting idle for around a year, when I went to use it, it just did not work. No response at all. I fiddled with it for a while and it randomly started to work. 6 days later nothing again no matter how much fiddling. It really doesn't seem like it is built to last. Seems like it should be extremely simple electronics, but something has given up. Fairly disappointing.

Hello Tyrion. We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your tool. Often this indicates that the battery is not secure or that there may be an internal error preventing the unit from starting. When installing the battery please be sure to give it a firm push into place; a loose connection could be the culprit! If you have tried these suggestions and are still experiencing an issue, we urge you to start a Live chat on www.greenworkstools.com or call1-888-909-7657 for further assistance. We ask that you have access to your polesaw, battery, and charger at the beginning of your call and please be prepared to complete troubleshooting with our team.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long term gas chain saw user, I was unsure about what to expect with this battery operated model. It had enough power to easily cut branches of 6" diameter.
