I did receive the new drive ordered and it did fix the error condition in my EX4100 My Cloud drive. The low score is from the fact that last year I replaced (All 4 drives after one failed after 5 years of use). Now less than 9 months after that was done successfully, one of those new drives failed. The Warranty appears for be a much shorted period and since the drive was twice as much in price, that that does not meet my expectations.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
