Great for a small apartment

Obviously, I would prefer to have a separate washer/dryer, but I'm glad this product exists for those of us who have limited space but want the convenience of laundry in home. My unit is in my kitchen and it looks great. It takes some learning to figure out how to best use the settings (not totally intuitive) for optimal performance, but I'm getting the hang of it.
Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase even though I had some huge maintenance issues in the beginning (I used it once, it broke, had to have a repairman come out twice and then we finally realized he needed to replace a part. All covered in the warranty, thankfully).
Pros: size convenience
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect High Tech Machine

I use this washer/dryer combo in my hotel/condo rental unit and the guests just love the convenience of having this machine and many other owners who have seen it work want to get one for their unit. It can fit a king size comforter and does a very good job of cleaning. It is high tech and very efficient with water and looks great.

Love the way this saves me time

I love the way this washer/dryer combo saves me time. Even though drying takes longer in this machine, I like how it makes me wash similar clothes together which is what you have to do to us this machine. I read reviews prior to purchasing this combo and the one stated you have to hang in there until you figure out which clothes to wash together so that everything is dry at the end of the cycle. At first the clothes felt "wet" but believe me they are not. :)
Pros: Performance

Excellent cleaning capacity

This little washer/dryer combo does a great job in getting clothes/linens clean. It takes up such little space and really does a great job. After clothes are dried, they definitely feel damp, but once you shake them out a few times the humidity goes away and they are much drier than they initially seem. I hang dry most of my clothing, so we use the dryer mostly for towels, sheets, and my husbands t-shirts. I highly recommend!

AWESOME PRODUCT

This compact, durable, and efficient machine fits well in my small laundry closet, where I opted to have one machine versus two or even the bulky and awkward "stacking" combo machines. The machine is pricey but provides a good investment when considering the energy expense of running it year round. I echo other reviewers' recommendation to read the manual carefully to take most advantage of the nice features. This kind of dryer seems to take a bit longer than the vented kind to finish drying laundry. LG provides helpful customer support on their website. Overall excellent product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can only have a combo unit in my house due to lack of space to put a separate dryer. I love this unit in theory because it allows me to have both (it is installed in my kitchen.) This washer works ok for washing clothes, but the drying feature is TERRIBLE. After having it for less than a year it has started making an incredibly loud vibrating noise that cycles on and off for the entirety of the 3-5 hour drying cycle. Since I have a small, open-floor plan house, you can hear this noise in every single room. We can't even hear the TV over the sound of the dryer, meaning all of the drying has to be done while at work or while sleeping (not convenient).

Great for a wheelchair user!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes, this model is small, and yes, it takes longer than a regular laundry pair. But as a wheelchair user, not having to handle wet clothes is a real plus. You put dry dirty clothes in, you get dry clean clothes out. As long as I only fill the drum half full, I have not had any problem with damp clothes. If I wash a bigger load, I have to extend the drying time. If I start a load before dinner it will be done before bedtime, which is good enough for me. Then I can use the delay wash and have it run a second load overnight so that it finishes first thing in the morning. I like that there is a timer on the front that tells you how long is left before it finishes.
Pros: Style/Design, Quality, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer/dryer combo almost a year ago. It has worked great since the day I washed - and dried -- my first load of clothes. If you follow the directions, and don't try to put too many items in at one time, it has worked great for me.
