My Favorite Laundry Machine

I had the chance to use this combo for a year while we were in a rental. It took some getting used to because there seemed to be so many options and I wanted to explore all of them.
The machine is very quiet and it does a top-notch job getting clothes and linens clean. The drying cycle seems to take a very long time. I don't know if that's because it's just slow, or if it has a long cool-down cycle.
It's very convienent to NOT have to take the clothes from the washer and put them into the dryer. Now, if only LG would perfect the technology that makes the combo fold the clothes and put them away, they'd have the perfect machine.

This machine is perfect for anyone who has limited space. It takes up alot less space than my old Whirlpool thintwin and cleans everything better. Cleaning the lint trap and running the tub clean, keeps the machine running great. And they are both very easy to do. I also use the non-alcoholic baby wipes after each load and wipe down the rubber door seal inside and out to catch any lint, and I think that works very well also. I highly reccommend this product to anyone. Besure to read all the instructions before using. I did alot of research on the internet before purchasing.

Super convenient

This washer is amazingly convenient to use and brings the joy of a personal washer dryer to apartment dwellers without need for special wiring and ducting. It also does not take a lot of water but cleans extremely well yet gently and clothes come out very soft. It has a bit of a learning curve to learn how best to set it for different types of loads since it runs a different principal from the typical washers most of us have experience with, but once learned it is very easy. It would be nice to have the option to put in for a bit more drying if comes out too damp, without starting over with a rinse and full dry cycle.
A fair amount of lint is generated, so it is important to wipe it out with each cycle. It is of concern that other reviews cite problems with lint getting into the machine and it requiring service to correct. I have not seen this yet but am careful to wipe out the lint and clean the pump filter with each cycle and have only had it for a few months. If true, LG should address the design flaw. Overall it lives up to its name and makes "life good"

Wonderful, Efficient Space-saver

I bought this to replace two units of unknown age that came with my house. The new combo unit has freed up much-needed space in my little laundry room. It has settings for every possible wash/dry need. It's water and energy efficient. It only needs a 110 outlet and no external vent. It's quiet and unobtrusive. It's like having a high-performance race car for your laundry. I recommend it.

In my condo, we can only install 110v non-vented machines, so I had little choice about buying this machine. Turns out I love it! Small loads do NOT take forever. Yes, the clothing does coming out feeling a little damp, but hanging them or just laying them out on a table or chair leaves them dry and wrinkle-free in a few minutes.
I have not emptied the water accumulation or lint vent yet...I wish there was a simpler way of cleaning the machine after each use. I usually just use my hand or a clean washcloth and wipe around the rim...lots of "stuff" accumulates on the cloth. But a typical dryer's lint filter is so much simpler to clean.
Even so, I'd choose this over a washer and dryer any day of the week. It's simple to do a wash, quiet, efficient...I'd only make machine maintenance easier on my wish list!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing washes, but LEGIT does not dry. takes 8 hours just to do a few towels? and they still come out damp, are you kidding me????? better off paying a laundry service to do your clothes rather than racking up your electric bill and wasting all your time " Re-Dying" your clothes. so annoying and so angry.

Amazing machine

I had little room for a washer dryer, and as there are only two of us, I thought I'd try this combo. It's amazing, once I figured out how to use it. Needs no outside vent and uses 110. I would recommend that you do not let anyone else use the machine unless they are 'checked out' on its instrument panel. Love it!
