If you need to buy a washer dryer combination, this is the one to buy. I am very happy with kit as a washer. It does a adequate job as a dryer also. I was surprised how quiet it was. I have a 700 square foot apt so space is important to me. My first LG product and I'm very happy with it.

Great washer dryer

I've used this washer / dryer combo for about a month. I quickly learned that limiting drying time to and hour or less results in clothes that are clean and almost dry.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Mostly a great washer/dryer

My main complaint is that it doesn't really dry the clothes any more. It did at first but now the closest it gets is with the 120 minute dry setting. I usually just put the damp clothes on a rack and they dry soon enough. Otherwise I love it. Small loads, yes... but there is just me. Takes awhile, yes... but I'm not in a hurry. It's very quiet (in my kitchen)--I don't hear it when watching TV in the next room--and fits right where the dishwasher, which I don't need, was.

Love the front loading

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about 3 years ago. Been a great washer and dryer set. Bought the extended warranty and sure enough an electronic part started going out. LG sent out service tech and replaced part. No problems other than that.

Five years, no problems, fingers crossed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit 5 years ago for a condo which has a tiny space for a washer/dryer and no dryer vent. I have had no complaints from my tenants, it is great for a single person or a couple. This type of unit is common in Europe. Clearly a full size W/D would be preferred but when that's not possible this is a great alternative. Unfortunately it has been discontinued, I am hoping they have a subsitute if I should need to replace this unit.
