Doesn't dry, small loads, noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like others have said IT DOESNT DRY YOUR CLOTHES! The machine takes about 4-5 hours to do one (very small) load of laundry - about an hour washing & spinning and 3 hours drying, and they're still damp. Also, mine has just started malfunctioning and soaking the clothes while it's on the "dry only" cycle - put my work clothes in to dewrinkle, came back and they were SOAKED! Overall, this machine would be a good option for a person who only washes a couple things at a time and can wait 5+ hours for it to finish aka no one.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The washer/dryer combo was installed in a hall closet so I wouldn't having to go down stairs to do the laundry. I really enjoy NOT having to move the clothes from the washer to the dryer if i'm in the middle of a project. I still have a problem keeping the loads small enough not to cause wrinkling (which is a real problem, causing me to iron more than I'm used to.)
The "Custom Option" gives you many more varieties of combinations than the pre-set options. I dry my lingerie and my husbands compression socks as I have no place to hang them and I can set a low heat dry cycle with the Custom setting. Looking forward to trying additional settings.
I would definitly recommend this appliance to small families with limited space.

It's a cool little unit. It washes just fine with lots of little bells and whistles....no! Really! Little tinkiley sounds.
And it dries, as most most reviews will support, slowly.

Wash and Dry Give it a Try!

Excellent Design Style! In fact I love the style so well I decorated my laundry room to match the colors! The buttons have so many options I feel like I'm in the cockpit ready to take off. Clean clothes are extremely important to me because my husband is an executive and I am just starting out in my own business venture. The LG Washer and Dryer combo gives us that just "dry cleaned" look without the dry cleaning prices. This has a number of wash programs we can choose from. The front loader has reduced my need for a chiropractor! The delay wash is perfect for adding extra clothes in at the last minute to make sure I am getting the full capacity. The dryer is quiet to the point where my husband can actually hear the ball game (however that also means he can still hear when I talk), in fact the washer and dryer are so quiet sometimes I forget I put them on! That's why I love the quick wash cycle!

This is such a convenience because of its size, no outside venting, and load the wash then remove after drying. One step only and you can set the timer at night, then wake up and get your coffee, and you're ready to fold the clothes!
The only addition I'd like is to have a pedestal for less bending.

This product is not the best LG product out there, it takes forever to complete the cycle, once the cycle is done you cannot open the door until it unlocks itself so basically you will find doing laundry 24/7. Who has time for that now a days?

no cycle less that 55 minutes might save water but not electric cannnot do small load again 55 minutes. can not soak clothing in washer. no perma press
