GO BACK TO THE OLD FORMULA!

I've been buying this milk & honey handsoap for many years and have loved everything about it, especially the smell. Last night, I opened a new large refill size and noticed right away something changed and NOT for the better. It's nice that it's now paraben free, however, it needs to have the same smell as the old formula. I will be looking for a new hand soap now (or at least until the old scent is brought back).

Very disappointed

Why was the formulation changed? I had to throw the bottle away today. I've been using this hand soap for years. Why would you change a good thing? The smell is awful and it stays on your hands for a long time.

New Fragrance is Awful

This has been my go-to soap for a decade or more - we purchased it regularly and kept it by every sink in our home. I even brought bottles to the office because the fragrance was not only light and pleasant, it wasn't so overpowering that it would trigger my migraines. This most recent bottle is terrible - the formula is very drying and makes my skin feel tight, and the fragrance is definitely different. It smells like a cross between regular soft-soap and the old milk and honey smell, but it's very strong and lingers for hours. The six pack I just bought are going in the trash and I'm on the hunt for a new brand of moisturizing hand soap, I won't use something that not only smells awful but gives me headaches. Not sure why the formula was messed with but I'm very disappointed to lose a reliable product.

New Fragrance is horrible

I used to love this soap. It had a pleasant mild fragrance and was nice and moisturizing. Now, the fragrance is horrible and smells like strong cologne. I even bought a second bottle thinking something was wrong with the one I got. This makes me very sad. I won't be purchasing it again.

New formulation is awful!

This used to be the best soap on the market. The scent was pleasant and subtle. This new formulation (that the company straight up lies and says hasn't changed) is absolutely terrible. I would give it zero stars if I could. The new formulation is heavily scented and smells of neither milk nor honey. I'm not sure how to describe it other than disgusting. The new scent lingers strongly on the hands no matter how vigorously one rinses. The lasting scent induces migraines and sneezing. It also dries out the skin terribly even after just one use. I'm going to boycott both Softsoap and their parent company, Colgate-Palmolive and suggest others do the same. I've been a loyal Softsoap customer for decades but they're never getting another cent from me or my extended family unless they change this soap back to its original formulation.

We used to buy Milk & Golden Honey Softsoap as our "house soap" - for years. Then Softsoap changed the formula to a truly awful smell. DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTSOAP BRAND if you were a fan of the old formula. You will need to throw it out.

Really miss the old scent & formulation :(

I have been using this product for years because of its pleasant mild honey scent and gentle yet effective formula. I bought a refill recently and the new scent is horrible. It no longer smells remotely like honey. The new formula also dries out my skin, which never happened with the old version. So bewildered by the unnecessary change. Please return to the original scent & formula, which were perfect!
