Free sample of return to original scent!

Much to my surprise a bottle of Milk & Honey soft soap arrived in my mail yesterday. I knew I had t ordered it, as I stopped using it after the changed to an awful perfume smell that triggered my migraines. When I opened the box and read the package that said they've changed back to original scent due to all of the customers requests I was so happy to hear our emails and reviews were taken into consideration. I didn't give 5 stars yet as I haven't used it to see if it truly has gone back to the non-drying, same smell soap as before. I will update after some use!

Quite a while ago I, apparently with A LOT of other previously satisfied customers, discovered the "milk & honey" scent of this handsoap was changed to a very overpowering, awful, obnoxious scent. I called to voice my dissatisfaction with Colgate-Palmolive company changing something that needed NO changing. Honestly, I'd forgotten about this soap as a result. Yesterday totally unexpectedly, I received in the mail a small pump bottle of....THE OLD WONDERFUL SCENTED milk and honey! There was a message from the company stating the old scent was restored to this product and I am overjoyed!! (along with probably thousands of other customers). So, I'm giving them 5 stars for returning a good product to the market and one that that the same creamy emollients that don't dry your skin like other hand soaps. Five stars for listening to consumers!! THANK YOU COLGATE-PALMOLIVE FOR LISTENING TO YOUR CONSUMERS' OJECTIONS AND ACTING ON THEM. Not too many companies with mega-dissatisfaction over a product will listen to the consensus!!

I wrote a review at least two years ago asking that Softsoap please bring back the original Honey and
Milk scent. Today I received a free bottle of Softsoap with a letter stating because of my request and others they have brought it back. Thanks, Softsoap!

Glad to you are back! This is my favorite all time scent. It is light, airy, and not too sweet. I was upset when they changed it. I called them and they finally brought the real milk and honey back. And then they sent me a free bottle! Thank you!

Back to the better scent!

When the scent changed I was not able to use the milk & honey soap any longer. It was horrible for my allergies. I contacted the company and thought I was ignored. Today I received a free 7.5 oz bottle of the better scent in the mail. I was not excited at first because I thought, what good will this do if I can’t buy more? Then I read the box and learned they have brought back the scent for good! I can’t wait to go to a store and stock up! To whoever needs to hear this… THANK YOU!

The original Milk and Honey fragrance is BACK!

Hurrah! They brought back the original Milk and Honey fragrance! And they sent me a free bottle! I am so thrilled, as I have been hoarding little almost empty bottles, while mostly switching to Methos, which has a terrible pump.

I was completly shocked today to get a bottle of the new old Milk & Honey scented hand soap in the mail. They actually brought the old scent back. Smells the same as it did and it's nice and moisturizing like it was. Kudos to Softsoap for listeing to it's customers and bringing back this old favorite.

I had used soft soap products my entire life until a couple years ago when the formula changed. I would only buy milk and honey, aloe vera, and what I call the “aquarium” hand soap scents. They are all very nostalgic scents to me. Unfortunately, the new scents are very perfumey and strong, a bit like standing next to someone who has bathed in perfume. They aren’t natural light scents anymore.
I received a product in the mail from softsoap claiming they had changed the formula back and got very excited, but this is not at all the previous scent for milk and honey. Thank you for sending me a free sample, but this is still not the same scent and it’s too strong. My hands feel very dry after using it too, which is unlike softsoap.
I have switched to a generic big box brand of softsoap and it has the same quality and scent as softsoap used to have and it has that nostalgic smell. If softsoap changed back, I would start buying their products again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
