Very dark yet rich in flavor. If you like dark magic this is better. My opinion. But WOW, I fell in love. I no longer have to find the right coffee. For this is it. Best I've had.

I've been hooked on Starbucks French Roast for many years! I've been disappointed in any new ones that I've tried... until now! What a pleasant surprise! I prefer coffee that is strong with that rich coffee flavor and taste! And this one has both! Happy me!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Going into this I may have been a bit biased already because I personally haven’t had dark roast coffee in at least two years, because white coffee is astronomically more effective at getting me going in the morning than dark roasts are, however I do understand that the flavor of a dark roast coffee is what a lot of people drink coffee for! Sometimes the flavor alone is the factor that gets people alert in the morning because it’s largely bitter when it’s this dark. Despite it having a sweeter undertone it is indeed bitter because that’s just the nature of black coffee. This is a great roast for people who like that flavor, and it’s also a great roast for people who can’t take a lot of caffeine for whatever reason it is be it health or jitters or what have you. It has a great classic dark roast smell and tastes just the way you’d expect, but the box claims there’s underbites of fruit somewhere in this coffee and that I can’t pinpoint when I drink it. All in all it’s alright. Not the best, just alright.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of Green Mountain coffee and now that I can get it in my Keurig coffee maker, it just got better. Some coffee pods end up being weaker than their traditional filter counterparts, but not Green Mountain. These pods taste just as good as their other coffees. Definitely a must buy!
