Has a chemical aftertaste says it's 100% pure coffee but it doesn't smell or taste like it.
Next time I go to the grocery store I will return it and say it's bad.

My mom& dad went from 8:clock coffee to Folgers and that has been a long I try all the coffees from Folgers and fave is the dark my sister drinks the instant she also drinks only Folgers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bad taste and aroma

I have drank Folgers coffee for over 30 years and never thought I would have to look for another coffee until now. I just bought a new jar of Folgers Classic Roast Instant Crystals 2 days ago. When I opened it, the aroma was not there and it tasted moldy.

Not the same

I have been drinking Folgers instant coffee for over 25 years. I had tried other brands over the years and none ever came close to Folgers. The aroma and flavor were outstanding for an instant coffee. Folgers was the only instant coffee I actually enjoyed. Although I still drink it, I agree with other reviewers who have stated that it has changed over the past year or two. The wonderful aroma when opening the container is not there and the flavor has changed too. I have not tried other instant coffees in recent years but I probably will now to see if I can find one I like better. Never thought I'd say that about Folgers. Disappointing.

Hey were is the aroma!

just started drinking the Folgers that others have drank for years (after reading other reviews) It has dawned on me that the smells that i experienced through the years while others prepped their cup of Folgers is GONE! Where is the aroma P&G? Am i remembering correctly...the recent Folgers TV spots, no longer shows the actor smelling the aroma as they drink-up as they have in the past. Could that be a clue?
Growing up watching TV, it wasn't Christmas until the College son came home for Christmas waking his mom up with the aroma.

What's up?

I've drank Folgers for decades. In the last few years it has taken a nose dive in taste, aroma and effects. It causes stomach pain and more. What's up with that? It use to be the best coffee in the world. My Grandparents were avid Folgers drinks. They would be rolling in their graves if they knew what it has become of it. How do I know it is the coffee- I quit drinking it, started grinding my own beans, presto, no horrific response to coffee any more.
Whatever you have done in the last few years - quit! Undo what you did to this once fantastic coffee.

Folgers Classic

We have been married for 55 yrs. and for that number of yrs. we have been drinking Folgers. My husband was military in the Army and was used to starting his day with coffee.
He is now 82 and I am 76 and we need our coffee every morning. Folgers Classic is his favorite and I have tried to change but he knows the difference. The only thing we have added to our morning coffee is flavored cream. Now with winter coming up, we are sure to drink more coffee than ever. When he is cold he even drinks it at night with his little piece of Mexican sweet bread. We hope this continues for many more years.
