bold tasting coffee

Decent Cup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great cup of coffee for anyone in the morning. The coffee itself was pleasantly smooth with a hint of nuttiness. It also had a touch of bitterness, but not such much that it overwhelmed the rest of the flavors. I'm not generally a fan of medium roasts, but this was a pleasant surprise.

Great coffee option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must have my coffee everyday and I’ve been looking for a rich, medium roast that could be consumed with or without a creamer. The Ground coffe 1850 met those expectations! It smells amazig, it tastes even better and I don’t feel like I’m drinking brown water! It’s so rich that can be consumed eve without addition of creamer. I really recommend this brand for coffee lovers like me!

Good, but not for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a sample of 1850 brand medium-dark ground coffee that Folgers recently released. It's a decent cup of coffee, but it's not my cup of tea.... err, coffee! If I'm on the run needing a quick cup this works fine, but when I'm relaxing and/or really savoring my coffee I wouldn't choose this. It's better than any Folgers coffee I've had, but it doesn't compare to the coffees I normally drink. It is very light even though it's labeled a medium-dark roast. At first it is smooth, but there's a slight, unpleasant bitterness on the finish. Personally, I prefer a darker coffee with more caffeine. This isn't dark or strong. The aroma was pleasant although a bit light. I would consider this for groups or house guests because it's non offensive and would please many different palates.
