[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When opening my 1850 ground coffee I got the medium roast you could smell the aroma of nuts and caramel right away. When the coffee was done brewing I noticed that it had a stronger aroma then my other coffee. On the first sip I noticed that the coffee is a tad stronger than my other original blend but tasted great. I will definitely be buying this coffee for when I want a stronger cup

Folgers 1850 Coffee - Medium roast flavor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The aroma is nice. The texture reminds me of the old instant coffees from the 1980's (Sanka, Folgers, etc.) - not a bad thing. I was surprised at how mild the flavor is for a medium roast coffee. The flavor is fine for a milder roast and there was an acidic/tinny aftertaste for a long time after finishing a cup. I tried again the next day and had the same experience. I asked my husband to try it and he said he liked it for a milder flavored coffee & didn't sense any aftertaste. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't use this regularly. I would buy it for guests, though; because the flavor was good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1850 ground coffee

Decent Coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't mind the 1850 ground coffee. It was not my favorite and I probably would not buy to replace my regular daily coffee. It was a bit too dark for me, which is not my favorite roast.
