[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1850's coffee is a pretty good basic ground coffee. I usually grind beans to make fresh coffee, but this was a good quick alternative. It tasted nice and full, not too bitter, but there wasn't anything special in the taste, just basic coffee. I make coffee in a French press (this worked with that) and drink it black, so I didn't dilute the taste with other stuff. I'd definitely buy it again, mostly for social stuff when I want to get out the big drip coffee machine, and not use up my store brand beans. :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big coffee drinker, and I can honestly say that 1850 Brand Ground Coffee is a completely different experience than I expected from a Folger's brand coffee. It had bold flavor and a hint of cocoa in the background that just enhanced the flavor. It feels like it was crafted by a luxurious brand. This coffee is about 3 times as expensive as the regular Folger's coffee, but I think you definitely get the quality for the price.
