Worst coffee I ever tried

I've been a coffee drinker for 30 years. I started on supermarket canned coffee. I drank coffee from a quick stop place with numbers in the name through college. Now in a given week I will drink anything from a single origin, small batch local roast to a large coffee chain dark roast to an organic blend to this coffee's parent company I find all of them at least drinkable and enjoyable.
This is hands down the worst coffee I have ever tasted in my life. It managed to be bland, burned and sour all at once. It didn't even smell good while it was brewing. I couldn't choke it down. I tried again, carefully following the directions and realized that it would take half a bag to make a full pot. So very costly on top of very, very bad.
I can only assume whatever came in the wooden box is not what they're selling in the stores. Save your money and stay far away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience drinking 1850 brand ground coffee. It was rich in flavor and had a heavenly aroma. I was very pleased with this product and definitely plan on purchasing in the near future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1850 Ground Coffee is an awesome blend that tastes just as good (if not better) than any coffee shop coffee! It isn't bitter or leaves a weird after taste in your mouth! It istill gives you that extra kick in the morning without the awful taste that some coffees can have! Would definitely recommend it! I received this product free for review!

Good flavor, but not very bold
