Great Tasting, Top Quality Coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1850's Pioneer Roast is a top quality coffee. My favorite varieties are Kona and Blue Mountain, and I enjoy brands such as Pete's, 8'Oclock and Community. Locally roasted coffee like Koffee Kult are also is a favorites. I prefer to get my coffee as freshly roasted as possible (aside from my guilty pleasure Nespresso pods), and grind it myself right before brewing.
Pioneer Roast is better than your average grocery store coffee. Its certainly better than most other Folgers varieties I've tried recently. For the price, it is a respectable medium roast that I'm not embarrassed to brew and serve at home. My picky wife savored every sip. I like the almost dark roasted flavor that has a mellow, nutty finish. I don't normally drink my coffee black, but this is one I can with no issues. It is the kind of well-roasted coffee you can make a pot of in the morning and drink it all day. For drip coffee makers, I recommend a slightly coarser grind. This is a brew to savor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received 1850 Ground Coffee free from Pinchme. I put it in my reusable filter and added water. I placed it in the fridge overnight and had my coldbrewed coffee ready in the morning. It was pretty good. I had it with a little bit of almond milk. It wasn't a real strong flavor but it was pleasant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not a huge coffee drinker and like my coffee iced or blended so gave it to my dad to try since he likes ground coffee. Asked him to give me an honest review of the 1850 brand and he said it smells good and the taste was how he normally likes his coffee to taste. Said he would get it again if he sees it on the shelf!
