Battery is terrible. I got a new phone because my old one was having difficulty holding a charge. This new one can’t even make it through a whole day. Assurion tells me I need to go to the Apple Store because it’s under their warranty. I’m not happy at all.

Thanks for letting us know what’s been going on. We’re really sorry to hear that your new phone still can’t make it through the day on a single charge. After replacing your old device for the same issue, that has to be incredibly frustrating. We would love to make things right and be able to turn your experience around.

You can enhance your battery performance by checking for any available software updates, restarting the device, or closing apps running in the background to help reduce battery drain.

Additionally, if you want a helpful guide for your device specifications you can get more information at:

These steps won’t fix every situation, but they can help us narrow down what’s going on. And of course, if you reach out to us directly, we’ll be glad to take a closer look and help guide you toward the next steps.

Hello there. Thank you for sharing your honest feedback with us.

We are sorry to hear that the iPhone 15 did not live up to your expectations and that it feels very similar to your previous iPhone 11. Upgrading to a new device is a big decision, and we completely understand how disappointing it is when the new technology does not feel like a significant leap forward. We always want our customers to feel excited about their new devices and to get the most value out of their purchases.

We would love to help you discover some of the massive upgrades built into this model that might not be obvious at first glance. This includes the incredibly sharp forty eight megapixel main camera with built in portrait detection, the interactive Dynamic Island at the top of your screen, and the convenience of universal USB C charging.

If you’d like to explore ways to make your current device feel more comfortable to use, whether that’s adjusting settings, learning about features you might not have tried yet, or even discussing future upgrade options, our team is here to help.
You can also check out Apple’s iPhone User Guide for tips that might make day‑to‑day use a bit easier:

Hot to the touch

Phone runs hot. When sitting idle, the phone is hot to the touch.
Response from ATT.comBy AT&T CARE - Jessica, March 9, 2026
Hi Tasha,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear that your iPhone 15 feels hot to the touch—especially when the phone is idle. That’s certainly not the experience Apple and AT&T want for you.
While iPhone may feel warm during tasks like setup, iOS updates, or heavy background activity, it should not remain hot while idle. Let’s walk through a few steps that often resolve this:
Quick Troubleshooting Steps

Check for iOS Updates
Go to Settings > General > Software Update. Installing the latest iOS version can resolve background processes that may cause overheating.

Close Background Apps
Swipe up from the bottom and close any apps running in the background, especially navigation, streaming, or social media apps.

Check Battery Usage
Navigate to Settings > Battery to see if an app is consuming excessive power while idle.

Remove the Case Temporarily
Some cases can trap heat. Try using the phone without the case for a short period to see if the temperature improves.

Restart the iPhone
A quick restart can stop any stuck background processes that may be causing excess heat.

Avoid Charging While Warm
If the phone feels hot, unplug it and allow it to cool before charging again.

If the Issue Continues
If your iPhone continues to run hot after these steps, we recommend:

Visiting an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to check for hardware-related issues.
Contacting AT&T Support, who can help review device performance and warranty or replacement options if needed.

We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your feedback helps us improve, and we want to make sure you’re getting the premium experience you expect from both Apple and AT&T. If you’d like additional help, our support teams are ready to assist.💙📱
