Great lightweight vac for quick cleanup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never really used a lightweight vacuum before but was interested to see how this one would work on multiple floor surfaces (we have a combination of rugs, hardwoods, tile, and one room with carpeting). Pros: Very lightweight! Super easy to carry around the house and doesn't take up a lot of space when storing. Detachable on-board hand vac... very convenient. Relatively quiet (also a bit of a con because my cat will not move out of the way when I am vacuuming!) Decent suction and beater brush. Cons: The cord is about a foot too short though I assume that if it were longer, it might make the vacuum more likely to tip over with the extra weight. There is an attachment for the hand vac but nowhere on-board to store it. The filter is a little fiddly... it is easy to see where it fits but it doesn't really snap into place. Replacing the hand vac can be a bit fiddly as well. Because of where the cord comes out of the vacuum, it gets in the way when wrapping the cord up. Overall: Does a reasonably good job of picking up scattered cat litter, fur, and other debris on most surfaces. I used it for daily quick cleanup however I still use my full sized vacuum at least once a week... especially in the carpeted room where the Bissell Featherweight seem to struggle a bit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Bissell Featherweight vacuum! When I received it, I was surprised by how light it actually was. I can literally pick it up with one finger. The design is pretty nice, as you can easily transition it from a floor vacuum to a handheld by removing the handle and roller. This makes it great for getting into tight corners and for quick cleanups on the couch when your kids spill crumbs everywhere. My favorite part is how easily it picks up pet hair! I have hardwood floors and sweeping just fluffs the fur around the room, but this vacuum makes cleanup so easy and quick! The dirt compartment is really easy to empty as well, just press a button, pop the top, empty the dirt/fur and pop it back into the vacuum. No bags, no fuss! It's so easy to just grab and go without the clunky hassle of my regular big vacuum. I would highly recommend it to anyone with hardwood and pets. I received the Bissell Featherweight PowerBrush Vacuum for free from Bissell and BzzAgent to give it a try and let them know what I think.

Good lightweight backup vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is very compact and lightweight, making it easy to use. Having to plug it into an outlet is not as tedious as I previously assumed, especially because it is not difficult to carry. Its size and weight make it ideal for just sticking into the corner with minimal hassle, unlike many bigger, heftier vacuums. The suction power is not the greatest and it takes around double the time to vacuum a specific area with this vacuum than with others. However, the stick attachment provided makes it easier to tackle specific areas or messes with much better suction. Despite its convenience in terms of size, I would not use this as my go-to vacuum, but it is great to have on hand as a backup option when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very lightweight option, which is great if you have back issues. Has some problem picking up some bigger things, but still a good option! The swivel range is really good so it can go almost flat to reach under couches.
