Can fit my bag anywhere.

Ergonomic

It feels similar to an Xbox controller and was easy to attach onto his iPhone 17. It’s not too heavy and is ergonomic which is important for comfort especially since he plays for a bit and was easy peasy to connect.

Cool to see how it transform your phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A fun way to turn your phone into a gaming device. Plugs in easily with an iPhone (out of the case) but it expands to fit other devices too. After some time you forget you’re playing on a small screen with the high quality imagery from the game and the classic commands from the controller. Lightweight—almost to a fault—it feels a bit fragile/cheap. But that also means it’s very portable. It’s responsive and easy to use for a pro-gamer or a beginner. It makes a great gift for game-loving teens and adults.

Easy to use, but a bit large

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boyfriend plays video games on his PlayStation all the time. He also plays games on his phone. So this felt like the best of both worlds; he could play his favorite phone games just like he was playing on his gaming system.
It was very easy to connect the controller to his phone (android) and to mine (iPhone), making it really adaptable. Since he’s a gamer already, it was easy for him to adjust to the controller buttons and feel.
The only downfall was that it doesn’t work well with all games, so some of his favorites didn’t work, which was disappointing. It’s also a bit big to take with us when we’re out and about, which was the point of getting it in the first place.
Overall, this is super cool, but there are opportunities for improvement.

Great Gaming Device...But I Like my Games Without

I haven't tried it connected to my computer yet, which is an awesome feature I'd love to explore when I have a need for it—my computer is a Mac, so I don't play many games that would be significantly improved or affected by the use of a controller versus my keyboard. For my phone, however, this has significantly improved my ability to game and the options I have for things to play. The controls are super easy to use and adapt to, and while it is a little awkward to hold because of the size of my hands, it's significantly easier to hold than other gaming controllers. I love that it's easy to adjust and comes with pieces to better suit different phones, but I wish that for my phone (iPhone 16 Pro), I didn't have to remove my case for it to connect. The Nexus app is super easy to set up, and it's made it easy to find new games I can play. I've been able to really get back into video games thanks to the Kishi, and I'm very happy about it.
While the having to remove my phone case is an irritating, petty inconvenience, my biggest problem and the reason I removed two stars (instead of one, like I'd planned when I first received and tried the Kishi) is Razer's ethics. I love this controller. I think it's absolutely amazing, especially for people that are working with what they have because a console or PC are out of their budget. Despite my love for this product, I cannot, in good faith, recommend it to others when Razer has demonstrated that they support misogyny in the gaming industry. I love playing video games. I know so many women that love playing video games. Why would I recommend them a product from a company that has made it clear that they view women as an inconvenience and a nuissance? Roughly half of gamers are women. The alienation and disrespect for such a large consumer base is frustrating, and I hope that they learn that women are not an inconvenience or something to mute from the response to their advertisement.

Lightweight, easy to set up, and makes mobile gami

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to play games sometimes when I have a little free time from college just to relax and clear my mind. I honestly didn't expect this controller to be so lightweight. It feels comfortable in my hands and makes mobile gaming much easier compared to using touchscreen controls. Setup was also pretty simple - one you connect it and open Razer Nexus app, it walks you through everything step by step. I like that you can quickly add games and launch them right from the app. The buttons and joysticks feel responsive and overall it makes playing on my phone much more enjoyable.

Perfect! Works well and portable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hubby was the tester and he didn’t hesitate to play the iconic GTA on it. His phone fit perfectly and had no issues getting the game to connect. Being able to play wherever was a bonus, I go to bed early and he came to bed and played in the handheld while I slept.
