Dresser would be fine if it didn't arrive scratched and cleary pre-used. The screw holes are scratched up, stripped and messy. It is obvious these are from a floor model, or a previous return. There are scratches all over the side and top. Went to write this review and they've also gone up in price $66 since I ordered.
Also, be warned that assembly is tedious and takes a while.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
