it's cheap both price & quality

the base is particle board, the rest is MDF. the veneer is really a thin layer of printed paper poorly glued onto the MDF, mine is already peeling the moment it came out of the box..it's they used a glue stick to glue the veneer on.. ...the MDF looks sturdy enough, but i'd rather pay more for a wooden one. Sadly, i like the design and just hate the poorly veneered mdf.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to assemble. Cubbies are a bit small, not overall good quality.
