Megablocks are a hit with young toddler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Megablocks have been a hit with my daughter. Right out the box , she began building, naming the different animals as she matched the colors together. After I assisted her with putting the wheels on the tractor she was off , driving rhe animals all around the house in her blocky tractor. Great size for little ones. I love the match aspect and that the colors coordinate as well. Will definitely buy more mega blocks for her in the future.

Build and Learn with the perfect amount of blocks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love introducing toys to my children that create a learning environment. I want to introduce animals and colors in a fun and exciting way without stress. This set allowed for me to do both including motion! You are literally building a tractor and creating an exciting and enticing experience!
The amount of skills and concepts I was able to introduce to my LO with this one toy was incredible.
She immediately wanted to dive into matching and color concepts without being prompted because she wanted to pack all her animals on the tractor and take them for a ride!
There are 8 animal block matches included in this build. The animals are; bunny, cow, chicken, horse, sheep, duck, dog, cat. It’s a great mix of animals to start with. My LO started shouting the animal sounds as we were building and was thrilled to be able to contribute things she already knew in addition to learning new concepts.
This is a terrific gift that checks so many boxes and makes learning fun! It’s fantastic that you can also expand and use this with other Mega Bloks as your LO grows.
I highly recommend this. There is so much play value in this in addition to learning.
They really did a phenomenal job with the vibrant colors and adorable animal imagery.

Very Imaginative Animal Blocks Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MEGA BLOKS First Builders Build & Match Animal Tractor Block Toy is an adorable set for any toddler. I got this set for my 21 month old and he absolutely loved it! He loves putting together the little vehicle and then driving it around. I like that you can match up the animal head block with the correct animal body block. It is fun to practice animal sounds together after he correctly puts together the different animals. This toy provides plenty of imaginative play as well as learning opportunities.

Mega Blocks First Builders Animal Tractor

My little one fell in love with this toy immediately and was so excited to help put it together. The animal faces on the blocks is a neat idea and the blocks are the perfect size for little hands.

Match, Stack, Knock, and Play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter enjoyed playing with the MEGA Bloks Build & Match Animal Tractor, especially the bright colors and the building aspect. She showed interest in stacking the blocks and preferred building them up high and then knocking them down rather than matching the same colors to form the animals.
She loved pushing the tractor around and made lots of tractor and animal sounds while playing, which was fun to watch and encouraged imaginative play. She stayed engaged for about 20 minutes before moving on to another activity, which is pretty typical for her age.
This set is great for improving fine motor and early occupational therapy (OT) skills, like grasping, stacking, and hand-eye coordination. Overall, it’s a well-made toy with multiple ways to play, and I would recommend it, especially for toddlers who enjoy building and cause-and-effect play.

Mega Bloks Build & Match Animal Tractor – A Huge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mega Bloks Build and Match Animal Tractor is such a hit for my 15-month-old, and has quickly become one of their absolute favorite toys. The set comes with 30 pieces, and the block size is perfect for little hands — big enough to grasp easily, but still lightweight and simple for them to stack and pull apart. My toddler immediately took to it and loved driving the little tractor around the house, crawling after it, and loading and unloading the blocks.
The animal theme is adorable. My older daughter (who is much older than 15 months!) even got in on the fun by matching the animal heads to their bodies — and then intentionally mixing them up to make silly “new animals,” which had everyone laughing. It ended up being such a cute sibling activity.
What I love most is that it’s a toy they can both enjoy in totally different ways — building, matching, pretend play, and just good old-fashioned pushing a tractor around.
Overall, this is a wonderfully fun, durable, and development-friendly toy. Highly recommend for toddlers and even their older siblings who like to help and play along. A perfect mix of learning and play!

A train full of fun while learning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little lady loves trying to build things, so these mega blocks are perfect for her age and stage! Not only can she build with them, but she learns colors and animals as she matches the animals to ride the train. She needed a little bit of help from her big siblings at first, but once she got the hang of putting each one of the parts together, she was able to do it by herself! I highly recommend this for learning fun!!

Good expansion pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mega Bloks - Build & Match Animal Tractor is intended to help your child develop their fine motor skills and match colors and animals. The pieces are large enough to not be a choking hazard and are easily graspable due to their 1:1 ratio size. The building blocks are easy to pull apart for an 18 month old but aligning and connecting the blocks together requires a little more help. It is a nice activity to do with your child while they practice their colors, their ability to recognize and identify the animal patterns and it's a great tool to develop their hand and eye coordination. The Mega Bloks are made from quality materials and will endure tough toddler play. The toy has nice bright colors and cute farm animal designs however, the animal designs are not stickers but rather a thin layer imprintation, which I am not sure how long it will last since it already has scratches and as a parent prone to disinfecting and sanitizing toys I fear those designs will fade over time. The tractor is easy to drive however due to its weight it falls apart after a few maneuvering turns and when it is picked up. The toy itself required adult assembly, with the wheels being the difficult component to put and pull apart. The toy comes with 8 farm animals each consisting of two building components, with a total of 16 blocks the child will actually play with since the 8 wheels and the 2 cart bases are part of the non customizable tractor cart. The 4 additional pieces are the 3 red tractor design components and a random flat yellow base used to elevate two animal towers onto cart. The piece is useful as a stationary base to practice connecting and stacking the blocks since the cart bases have wheels and may frustrate a practicing toddler who is just starting to learn, however, this piece is too small to be a decent "base". Overall the toy fulfills its function to teach motor skills and visual recognition patterns but it is too simple and not customizable enough as a stand alone toy but rather a good expansion pack to a more open ended set of Mega Bloks to encourage limitless creative play.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
