The tower PC looks like it has enough room for an external 5 1/4" drive bay where you could put a DVD or Blu-Ray drive, but no, it's only 3" behind the facade. It's also missing crucial SATA power cables with proprietary connectors on the other end for internal expansion. The spare parts site wanted way too much for these small cables. A box this big should allow for expansion, but HP skimped on the small stuff. I ended up returning this PC for a refund.
Overall, this is a very capable machine and I like it. However, the mouse that came with the computer turns on, but will not work. Many consultations on the Internet have not produced a solution to this. USBs are difficult to insert. It appears that the USBs in back are more capable than those in the front but if this was disclosed, I missed it.
