Great Tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my very first purchase for a DIY project in my new home.
Outside of not knowing which end to place the staples in at first it is a great tool and gets the job done. (Side note Arrow, place an arrow :) for the staple entrance on the gun (for the beginner tool users) Thanks!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the design on this staple gun. How you push down on the handle towards the end where the staples come out. It helps with making sure staples go in all the way.
Pros: insulation

Cannot hold up to the job.

I purchased this stapler with the feeling that an industrial stapler would work well for me tacking up insulation. After about two hours out of the package the staples started jamming in the feeder and I had to keep opening up the feeder bar to get the staples to slide forward. One shot and the same thing. I am very disappointed in the this product. If not for the feeding problem this would have been a good stapler.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Repairing the tensil rope on a cat scratch wooden tower - the staples went in easily. The forward action - for a hand with less grip strength - worked really well.
The only challenge thus far has been to load the staples. I could not get a long length of staples to load. I am fairly mechanically minded -- typically don't have any challenge with this type of thing. I had to break the length of staples into a third of the length for the ram rod to slide back in and close.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] easy to use. I've owned a number of staplers over the years and most failed in some way or other. The last one failed to work after only 2 months. I use it now mainly to attach leather to hand-crafted fireplace bellows that I make.
