Got home, put 3/8" staples in it, shot first staple great, but that is where it all went south. Not close enough tolerances to keep tension on the staple magazine. They slipped by the tensioner spring after the first shop and never shot another staple until I opened/closed the magazine slot. would never recommend this stapler to anyone. I think the Arrow company OWES me the free staple puller because I had to drive 22 miles back to the store to return it. Supposed to mention code 1024 to get it, but bet I never will and you will never see this review.
Pros: General Repairs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best stapler I've ever used.

Couldn't locate staples for my old stapler any longer so decided it was time for a new one. Selected the Arrow PowerShot Advanced Forward Action Stapler based on what I read about it's power and ease of use. Didn't even realize it was a forward action stapler until I got it out out to use for the first time. FANTASTIC! The forward reverse action puts the energy you use right where it counts, right behind the staple. It seems to take more energy at first until BANG! Every bit of stored energy you've put into it is instantly released driving the staple in harder than any stapler I've ever used. This is hands down the best stapler I've ever owned in my professorial career.

I have used the "typical" style stapler for many years, but I now have a minor case of arthritis and the handle on the old stapler is getting hard to squeeze. This one is much easier to use.

Loaded 1/2" staples to instructions. Unit would only fire a staple when I would open the magazine and close it. Then, when I tried it again with more force, it would hit without opening the chamber. Hard to use for accuracy if you have to hit hard rather than setting it the item to be stapled gently.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
