All of the conventional staplers require it to be pushed hard against what you're stapling. The PowerShot is just a squeeze and and the job is done.
Pros: insulation, Hanging Targets

This was by far the best staple gun I have ever purchased , easy to load and easy to use I would recommend this tool to anyone

Does not work well in harder woods. Works well on pine.

Easier to squeeze trigger. However not enough energy to go through harder woods and dry PT wood. For larger staples especially. Have to go back to staples and drive in rest of way with hammer.
Pros: General Repairs, fencing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Idea......But

Had a nasty stapling job putting up plastic sheeting in a crawl space of a very old building. Replaced my old T-50 w/ the new hot shot. First staple shoots out fine but the spring does not advance the next staple!!!!! Had to switch back to my old stapler. I love the idea of having the most power w/ the lever over the plunger but if it don't work it stinks.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
