The T50X stapler was used to repair a screen door that was detached at. the bottom of the door. The stapler was easily loaded with staples, which is a nice modification from the older T50 models. The stapler performs as expected. It is easily used by anyone. The stapler handle pressure is nice.

Miss Fires After The First Staple

I purchased this staple gun after buying a Powershot late in 2022. I purchased the Powershot, because I own a Craftsman staple gun that looks Identical. I love my Craftsman and wanted to have one at our church were it would be used often. The powershot only lasted for a few hundred staples before the rail that the staples ride on began to deform, leading to jams every two or three shots, and eventually, every other shot. We have an event for two consecutive weekends every year, where our staplers have to fire a couple hundred times a night. After ordering a replacement and having the same problem, I realized the powershot was not as heavy duty as my craftsman. I then ordered this T50HS as a replacement because it is a "Heavy Duty" staple gun. It is mostly metal, so I was very excited. This was in November 2022. I haven't used it until this week (5/23/23), because it didn't get to us in time for our event. To my dismay, this thing shot 5 or 6 times, then stared miss firing (no staple comes out). I'm using Arrow T50 staples, so I know it's not the staples as they work perfectly in my Craftsman. After the first 5 or 6 shots I had to release the magazine latch and push it back in until it latched, and it would fire one staple, before miss firing again. I repeated this process 15-17 times before it would not shoot at all. This is very frustrating! This is my third staple gun from Arrow, and they have all been sub-par, to down right ridiculous. What does it take to get a piece of equipment sold in this country to function properly and last for more than a few uses. The powershots don't last for even a full box of staples, and the "Heavy Duty" T50HS, won't get through a single stick of staples.

Good for weather stripping

Added a lot of weatherstripping to my garage and barn and this stapler made job a snap. Used 1/2 inch long T50 and was very easy.
