Tool is great for small and big projects

Broke first day.

I managed to finish most of my project, nothing heavy, plastic to cover insulation - then the spring broke. Can’t find anywhere to get a replacement. Broken after owning it less than a day. Disappointed.
Pros: insulation

Great Concept, Lousy Execution!

Reversing the direction of the Lever makes this thing vastly superior ergonomically. But it will not drive a staple home, unless only 1/4" long, and even then, not if you load a lot of staples.
Pros: General Repairs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good for nothing

Just bought this. Got home and loaded with the staples required. Do a couple of test shots, no staples come out. Try to inspect, slide is completely jammed. Finally get it apart and it falls into pieces.
Pros: General Repairs, Wiring
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement for my powershot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the powershot to stretch canvas in my frame shop. I have been happy with them for the last 20yrs. I really like the handle in the strong part of my hand. I typically go through 400 to 500 staples a week, so ease of use is important. A month ago I bought a new one and I can't get a half of a strip of staples to go through with out a jam. So this is a replacement for that. So far so good. Jam free

Great product for outdoor screen
