Could be better with minor design updates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off i like how this holds my phone securely. However, for me it is missing a button to release my phone from the clip easily. I have to take the whole component out with the phone and then pry open the handles to get the phone out. Lastly i would say that the weight of the phone i have causes the clip to move downwards, so that wasnt cool either.

Simple but effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Typically well made. Simple not a lot of moving parts like I ottie. I wouldn’t mind having a bottom just in case you hit bumps when the phone is upright. Haven’t had any issues with it falling out. Good product.

Better Than the Rest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is very sturdy and easy-to-use. Unlike other similar products, the Belkin car mount mounting piece is thicker, more solid, and easier to mount in my car vent. The mount allows me to place the phone in a convenient location next to the navigation and console display in my car making it seem natural to the dash configuration. One advantage with this mount is the expansion mechanism movement is effortless. Another advantage is on the rear, it has a set of clips to wrap excess cord. I have had it for a while now, and it has made a difference in lessening distractions, because I can change the stations on my phone like it was a car radio. This mount is perfect for those that use their phone for navigation, music, or needing it available for use.

Great Gadget!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this out and really like it. It attaches easily to the vent and hold phone securely. When the phone is in the mount there is no way to swivel it toward the driver and I found that a little frustrating. I could not see the screen as clearly. Also, its it is an extreme temperature day the cold or heat coming through the vent could affect the phone.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this in my 2012 Honda Civic for a few weeks and it works great. The clip holds my iPhone 7 with slim case securely while I’m driving and doesn’t move around too much. I don’t use the rubber cord holders on the back because my braided nylon wrapped cord is a little too big to easily pop in and out - it would work well if I had the cord in there and never had to take it out. If I could change one thing, it would be that it is hard to open to put my phone in one-handed and it’s hard to move my other hand to the vent clip in my car.

Super sturdy and makes driving safe!

It fits any size phone even a $ plus with a beefy case on it. In addition to the great size range it is a place wind a cord through so that you don’t have loose wires. This has been an amazing mount. Better product than the two other mounts I’ve tried from other brands

Amazing hold for the right type of car

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve generally always used a phone mount in my car as I use Waze and Music apps EVERYWHERE. This mount holds my iPhone X very well with my case and even if I have the grips over the buttons they don’t seem to interfere. The only issue I ran into with this mount is my air vent will lower itself with my phone on this mount. (14 Nissan Armada) So I just put the phone into the mount THEN slide it into the air vent slot. Which kinda seems what you’ll have to do as the grip is pretty strong (I like so my phone won’t fly out)
The neat thing on this mount is there is a keeper for your charger cable of aux cable behind it so you won’t have to search out your cables when you use it.
Overall it’s a great buy, and definitely would recommend it. Construction and grip is very solid.
